John H Reagan High School
Class Of 1969

 "Class of 1969"

New painting on wall at Reagan

Over the years since graduation we have had to say "Good-Bye" to too many of our friends!!  Now I have to inform you of the loss of another Reagan Bulldog...Ryan Harris.  Ryan left his Earthly body on April 7, 2015 to go to a much better place where there is no more suffering.  There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday April 11th at 7pm.  Information can be found in article below or on FaceBook at Celebration of Life for Ryan Harris.

Please join us to celebrate the life of our beloved Ryan. Big Ryan did not want to have a traditional funeral but instead wanted us to have a heart-felt "party" in his remembrance.  A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Ryan on Saturday April 11th at 7pm at the SSQQ Dance Studio. This is located at 1431 W.20th in Houston, TX.  Please relay this information to anyone who knew and loved Ryan. We will serve dinner as well and are trying to get a headcount so if you think you can make it, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. Come one, come all.

Our friends are a very important part of our lives.
Treasure the tears, treasure the laughter,
but most importantly treasure the memories!!

Prayer Requests

Hilda Fernandez Kellogg has asked that I post this announcement!!

Since the last reunion I attended, we have moved twice. I have been kept busy with moving and my Husband being sick. He was in the hospital in December and January and we were both sick with a bug all of February. We are now getting back on our feet. I am still being kept busy with his Dr. appointments and he also takes therapy 3 times a week. I am back to normal but he will be sick for the rest of his life.  I thought I was going to lose him in December but thanks to God, he has good doctors taking care of him.

We continue to keep Larry Eubanks and his family in our prayers.  We ask that the doctors have the knowledge and understanding to care for Larry and keep him comfortable at this time.

Please add Cecil Otto (Charles' wife) to your pray list.  She has been suffering from some severe migraine headaches.  After many trips to several doctors and several different diagnosis, she finally found out she is dealing with Occipital Neuritis.  She is now on some new medications and hopefully will be well soon.

We also need to add Dottie Pearle's mom to our prayer list.  We ask that the doctors and nurses who are taking care of her have the knowledge to deal with her many problems and are able to keep her comfortable.  We also ask that Dottie is able to have the strength and comfort to take care of her mother.

Kaye Martin (Coukoulis)  went into cardiac arrest Saturday night and is in intensive care. She has been on a feeding tube for over a year and doctors have not been able to find any medical reasons for that. Her liver is now failing. The family asked that you keep Kaye in your prayers for improving health.

Let's See How Many of You Remember These T.V. Story Lines???

After the Lone Ranger saved the day and rode off into the sunset,

the grateful citizens would ask,  Who was that masked man?  Invariably, someone would answer, I don't know,  but  he left this behind.

What did he  leave behind??

Answer:  Silver Bullet

Thoughts To Ponder

Your kids are becoming you......but your grandchildren are perfect!
Going out is good....Coming home is better!
You forget names.... But it's OK because other people forgot they even knew you!!!
You realize you're never going to be really good at anything....especially golf.
The things you used to care to do, you no longer care to do, but you really do care that you don't care to do them anymore.
You sleep better on a lounge chair with the TV blaring than in bed. It's called "pre-sleep".
You miss the days when everything worked with just an "ON" and "OFF" switch.
You tend to use more 4 letter words ... "what?"..."when?"... ???
Now that you can afford expensive jewelry, it's not safe to wear it anywhere!!
You notice everything they sell in stores is "sleeveless"?!!!
What used to be freckles are now liver spots.
Everybody whispers.
You have 3 sizes of clothes in your closet.... 2 of which you will never wear.
But Old is good in some things: Old Songs, Old Movies, and best of all:
