 "Class of 1969"

New painting on wall at Reagan

I’m Back!!

Yes, in case you had not noticed, I have been missing in action!!  We had some major problems develop at our household that placed us in a new world known as “Back to the Future!!”   I guess it wasn’t really that bad, but it seemed to put a stop to so many things!  It all started one night about 2am when I heard thundering booms off in the distance.  So I stumbled off to the living room to find the laptop to unplug before lightning strikes!!  The next morning we wake up to a very beautiful day after a night of terrible thunderstorms.  Since it was so pretty we decided to take a short trip…just a few days away to rest and recoup from all the reunion planning.  After a few days of rest, we must return to the real house and paying bills!!  So I turn on the laptop and start packing away all my reunion papers.  Back to the laptop to pay bills…WHAT!!  I know I turned it on, but no laptop…hit start again…still nothing!!  What is going on??  So the next day Lindy takes it to the computer repair shop.  After a very long 3 day wait we receive word that the laptop is D-E-A-D!!!  Oh no!!  Now what do we do??  The answer is to go shopping and become very over-whelmed at how much you do not know about computers now!!    So after several days of research and shopping we make our decision on a new laptop, only to find out how much we really do not know!!  We are about 5 years behind in the electronics world.  But after many hours of studies, practicing and a “How to Dummies” book...I think I can…I think I can.…NOT!!!  So many more hours of reading!!  Now I am ready to attempt to update this website and pay bills.  So if you have emailed me or tried to reach me, I have not been ignoring you…I have been in the lost world of no computer!!

So let’s try to get updated on all that has been happening since the reunion.  The first problem we will solve is the class pictures the photographer made at the reunion.  Yes, the pictures are done, the reason it has taken so long is Dottie Pearle has been having some medical problems with her mother and has had her in the hospital.  We all know “family comes first.”  Dottie you and your mother are in our prayers.   With all this going on there has been no spare time for the photographer or Dottie to get together.  Just got a message that Dottie has received the photos and now I have to meet up with her to get the photos.  Hopefully that will be soon…and then I can download them and get the info for ordering added to the website.  Keep watching the website for the upcoming reunion photos!!

Our friends are a very important part of our lives.
Treasure the tears, treasure the laughter,
but most importantly treasure the memories!!

Prayer Requests

We continue to keep Larry Eubanks and his family in our prayers.  We ask that the doctors have the knowledge and understanding to care for Larry and keep him comfortable at this time.

Please add Cecil Otto (Charles' wife) to your pray list.  She has been suffering from some severe migraine headaches.  After many trips to several doctors and several different diagnosis, she finally found out she is dealing with Occipital Neuritis.  She is now on some new medications and hopefully will be well soon.

We also need to add Dottie Pearle's mom to our prayer list.  We ask that the doctors and nurses who are taking care of her have the knowledge to deal with her many problems and are able to keep her comfortable.  We also ask that Dottie is able to have the strength and comfort to take care of her mother.

Kaye Martin (Coukoulis)  went into cardiac arrest Saturday night and is in intensive care. She has been on a feeding tube for over a year and doctors have not been able to find any medical reasons for that. Her liver is now failing. The family asked that you keep Kaye in your prayers for improving health.

Let's See How Many of You Remember These T.V. Story Lines???

After the Lone Ranger saved the day and rode off into the sunset,

the grateful citizens would ask,  Who was that masked man?  Invariably, someone would answer, I don't know,  but  he left this behind.

What did he  leave behind??

Let us know what you think the answer is.

Thoughts To Ponder

Your kids are becoming you......but your grandchildren are perfect!
Going out is good....Coming home is better!
You forget names.... But it's OK because other people forgot they even knew you!!!
You realize you're never going to be really good at anything....especially golf.
The things you used to care to do, you no longer care to do, but you really do care that you don't care to do them anymore.
You sleep better on a lounge chair with the TV blaring than in bed. It's called "pre-sleep".
You miss the days when everything worked with just an "ON" and "OFF" switch.
You tend to use more 4 letter words ... "what?"..."when?"... ???
Now that you can afford expensive jewelry, it's not safe to wear it anywhere!!
You notice everything they sell in stores is "sleeveless"?!!!
What used to be freckles are now liver spots.
Everybody whispers.
You have 3 sizes of clothes in your closet.... 2 of which you will never wear.
But Old is good in some things: Old Songs, Old Movies, and best of all:
